The waste collected, rather than just being sent to a landfill, is diverted to our MRF (Materials Recovery Facility), where it is processed. Since 2009, we have been processing the waste we collect. Then in early 2020, using state of the art European sorting and separating technology, we commissioned our upgraded new MRF.
Doyle Bros are experts in supplying and servicing the complete suite of solutions to collect and divert our customers waste from landfill. This involves a combination of organics, paper and cardboard, mixed recycling, and dry waste.
The outcome is an overall program diverting 90% of waste from landfill. Doyle Bros will design and implement a GECA Waste Management Plan and provide all services to the GECA Waste Collection Services Standard.
